In 2018 the Germans will bring to market the new generation of crossover, which will be larger than the current model and get the best equipment. The basis of the new Audi Q3 will put the platform MQB, so the length of the car will increase from 4.39 to 4.45 meters and wheelbase - from 2.60 to 2.65 meters. This decision will put the model on a higher step, after the small crossover Audi Q1 will hit the market in 2016.
The interior of the Audi Q3 will focus on the new Volkswagen Tiguan, shown at the Motor Show in Frankfurt, with different multimedia system and the projection display. Cargo capacity will also increase - from 356 to 400 liters.
Unlike its competitors like BMW, Audi does not plan to put on the new three-cylinder engines Q3. But there will be improvements of four-cylinder engine capacity from 1.4 to 2.0 liters capacity of 150 to 367 hp. In the future, the model will also appear as a hybrid version. The cost of this version will overcome the 30 000 euros.
